Yang Bao (b. 1991) is a New York-based installation artist, pianist and composer who works in sound sculpture, performance, video and painting. Renowned for his large-scale metal sound sculptures and Infinity Music compositions, Bao transforms landscapes and architectures into monumental super-instruments. His site-specific works harness time and chance to create evolving, multidimensional soundscapes, reimagining sound as a tangible force that reshapes our perception of space and time. Through a minimalist approach, he visualizes sound as physical forms, creating an experiential synthesis of the arts.
His groundbreaking sound sculpture complex, HYPERSPACE, permanently collected and exhibited at The Donum Estate in California, stands among the world’s largest sculpture collections. This dynamic installation blends Infinity Music with natural elements like wind and birdsong, presenting sound as a fluid, living experience. He has been awarded Maria Manetti Shrem Composer Prize, Forbes China's "Most Influential Young Artists" and Robb Report's "Young Artist of the Year." His artworks are collected by Long Museum and commissioned by DIOR, Louis XIII, and Devialet. Bao’s solo shows include MADLANDS at Long Museum (2024), Hear A Century Ahead at the Former British Consulate in Shanghai (2021), and Late Night Savage at Cc Foundation (2021).
A Juilliard and New England Conservatory-trained classical pianist, Bao has performed with prestigious orchestras worldwide, merging classical mastery with his original compositions. Recent highlights include the premiere of his composition First Day on Mars Piano Fantasie at Carnegie Hall and his symphonic composition Sol in California. He recently performed Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with Maestro Long Yu and China Philharmonic Orchestra at the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

鲍杨（1991年生）是一位驻纽约的装置艺术家、钢琴家和作曲家，创作媒介包括声音雕塑、表演、影像和绘画。他以其大型金属声音雕塑和“永久音乐”作曲而受到广泛关注，将自然景观和建筑空间变为巨型乐器。他特定场域的作品通过时间的叠加与偶发性的演化，构建出多维度的声音景观，将声音化为有形的力量来重新定义我们对空间与时间的感知。他以极简主义手法将声音视觉化为实体，创造多感官的综合性艺术体验。
他的开创性声音雕塑群“HYPERSPACE”由世界最大的当代艺术雕塑收藏之一The Donum Estate在美国加州永久收藏并展出，将“永久音乐”与风声、鸟鸣等自然元素相融合，呈现出流动、鲜活的声音体验。他曾荣获Maria Manetti Shrem作曲家奖、《福布斯》中国最具影响力的青年艺术家、《罗博报告》年度青年艺术家奖等。他的作品由龙美术馆永久收藏，由迪奥、路易十三和帝瓦雷等国际品牌委任创作。他的个展包括“狂幻之野”（龙美术馆，2024）、“Hear A Century Ahead”（原英国驻沪总领事馆，2021）以及“午夜魑魅”（Cc基金会，2021）。
